Transmin Roller Mounted Ball Mills are a low cost, easily installed (and maintained) solution for many process plant grinding operations. Designed for either closed or open circuit grinding, these units can be fitted with single or twin drives depending on the application. Suitable for installation in a wide range of applications, Transmin's heavy duty roller mounted Ball Mills have been tried and tested by clients worldwide.
These Mills can be installed to improve process efficiencies by increasing the amount of particle surface area exposed to a reagent solution. Depending on the grinding ratios and particle work index, tonnages up to 25TPH can be comfortably handled, with larger tonnages achievable using multiple units.
Transmin roller mounted ball mills can also easily be adapted to be used as scrubbers for washing of ores to remove clays or fines.

Long Life Polyurethane Rollers
All mills feature heavy duty rollers which have been heat treated, machined and lined with polyurethane. The polyurethane uses machined grooves to allow expansion under load without cracking.
Track and Roller Guards
To provide protection of the rollers and tracks, large guards are fitted to the base frame, complete with weather strips each side. Inspection doors are fitted allowing unhindered access to rollers and bearings.
Standard Mill Sizes
With extensive standardisation, these machines are now even more affordable and can be manufactured, assembled and dispatched faster than ever before.
Custom Design
The units can be fitted with steel or rubber liners & lifters, and where necessary can be modified to utilise rods as the grinding media
.
Assembly and Testing Facilities
To ensure absolute reliability from first start-up, Transmin insists on complete trial assembly and test running of ALL roller mounted mills.
