Storage Silos

Storage solutions for a wide variety of materials

Transmin offers a large, diverse range of silos and bins to suit any application handling materials including fly ash, bitumen, cement, quicklime, hydrated lime, flocculant, talc, aged lime, flour, salt, sawdust, magnesium oxide and sugar. Each system's designed and engineered to produce maximum efficiency and discharge for each particular process.

Transmin also offer turnkey packages incorporating Transmin designed silos or bins with mechanical equipment feeding and for discharging stored product. Fabrication materials include mild steel, stainless steel, concrete, fibreglass and bisalloy.

Transmin have successfully supplied and installed silos, bins, hoppers and storage tanks ranging from 1 tonne to 2000 tonne holding capacity. Whatever the situation Transmin are able to design a suitable solution.

Dust Collection

Silos filled pneumatically via trucks or conveying lines require an outlet for pressurised air. The main method of releasing clean air to the atmosphere is by the use of a dust collector.

Bin Activators

These mechanical vibrators as used to keep material flowing out of silos or bins. This eliminates the need for mass flow bins or installing expensive pneumatic flow enhancement systems.

Relief Vents

Often overlooked, where silos or bins faced with pneumatic filling, material producing gas, or aspirated systems, relief vents are required in the event of over pressurisation.

Site Installation

Transmin will organise civil, structural, electrical and mechanical work crews, cranes, and equipment to install the silo in minimal time to avoid interfering with production.
