High quality gates for the toughest applications.

Transmin has developed a range of sliding plate, divertor and clam type gates to suit some of the most arduous duties in industry. Closing aperture sizes of up to 8.0m x 1.6m have been achieved for the iron ore industry for applications to isolate feeding equipment from ore bins above during maintenance.

The gates can be fitted with hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders for opening and closing the gate. Hydraulic power packs are supplied along with local operating panels as required.

Many successful installations ahve been undertaken across many industries within Australia and and around the world.

Range

The broadest range of applications is covered by Transmin designs, whcih means a solution can be found for most applications. Some of our larger gates have a mass of 30t assembled.

Dual Plates

For applications to isolate long narrow openinings, Transmin has a special dual plate design which closes along the longer dimension, the plates meeting in the centre to seal.

Twin Side Mount Cylinders

Transmin gates have twin side mounted cylinders which makes the overall gate dimensions as compact as possible compared to a gate having the cylinder protruding from the rear frame.

Flow Control

Many Transmin gates are used to control the flow of material from bins and hoppers or to divert material in chutes. Controls can be incorporated to vary the speed of actuation to give a finer degree of control over material flow.
