Brickworks - Perth WA:  Transmin is nearing the completion of a $ 5m contract for the front end equipment associated with the installation of a new kiln  The scope of the contract included design, supply, installation and commissioning of a bulk materials handling system for clay and additives.  Also included were various structures and the relocation of a number of existing items of process equipment such as mixers and roller mills.

The project included belt conveyors, screw conveyors, even feeders, surge bins and product silos, pneumatic transfer lines, additive feeders, bin dischargers, belt ploughs, shuttle heads etc.

Other significant projects include:

• A major materials handling plant handling filter cake fines, dusts and additives at a steel works in NSW.
• Materials handling equipment on board a live cattle carrier including screw conveyors, chain conveyors and buckt elevators - click here for project brief
• Major flocculant and lime storage and slaking facilities at a WA alumina refinery.
• 17 off heavy duty belt and bucket elevators handling grain at 1100tph for two grain storage facilities.
• ISO container unloading facility in Queensland.
• 9 off high temperature chain and bucket elevators for Queensland.
• Large heavy duty hydraulic isolation gates for various WA iron ore mines and facilites.
• Two off complete asphalt transfer, storage and loading plants.
• Flocculant plant, lime plant and rockbreaker for a major WA gold mine upgrade.
• 10,000tph crushing plants for WA iron ore mines.
• Ash handling equipment for a number of coal fired power stations across Australia.
• Lime plant upgrade at one of WA's most remote gold mines.
