Taper Lock Bush Assembly

Transmin has designed and developed standardised taper lock bushes. These ensure true shear loads at all pins by gripping radially and axially to prevent bending and twisting within the the mounting connection. For an increase in maintenance speed and efficiency, pin replacement is made easy by in built jacking screws.

Over Centre Valves

The over centre valves on all Transmin Rockbreakers are custom designed specifically to suit our cylinders. These bolt directly onto a machined port to provide the best possible safety. Over centre valves are standard fitment to prevent boom and jib collapse if a hydraulic line is severed and can be added to the hammer cylinder if required.

Hydraulic Cylinders

All cylinders are designed and custom built by Transmin to provide superior strength and life under arduous conditions. The rod end is full penetration butt welded and 100% ultrasonic tested in accordance with AS1554 to achieve the best possible connection. The entire area is hand dressed to ensure no notching which would propagate cracks in a fatigue situation. All Transmin cylinder rods are HVOF coated to provide protection and longer life under arduous operational situations.

MD Series
Transmin MD Rockbreakers are designed and manufactured to provide strong economical systems with slewing cylinders for typical mining and quarrying applications such as jaw crushers and smaller grizzlys.
In-house Assembly and Testing
To ensure absolute reliability from first start-up, Transmin insists on complete trial assembly and test running of all rockbreaker boom systems. Client witnessing of testing is very much encouraged. Transmin has a dedicated assembly and testing workshop which provides a clean environment for mechanical fitting and testing, as well as the ability to handle large quantities of rockbreakers efficiently and without undue delay.
