- Dust Collectors
- Silos filled pneumatically via trucks or conveying lines require an outlet for pressurised air. The main method of releasing clean air to the atmosphere is by the use of a dust collector. The dust collector is a roof mounted steel box that contains filtering socks. These filter socks capture suspended dust particles in the air passing through the silo, expelling only clean air. Compressed air is directed in the opposite direction of the main stream flow to clean the collected dust from the filter socks.
- Bin Activators
- As shown under bin activator section these mechanical vibrators as used to keep material flowing out of silos or bins. This eliminates the need for designing mass flow bins or installing expensive pneumatic flow enhancement systems.
- Relief Vents
- These simple yet often ignored pieces of equipment are almost always required on most silos and bins. Where silos or bins are faced with pneumatic filling, material producing gas, or aspirated systems, relief vents are required in the event of an emergency. If gases are allowed to build up or removed (vacuum) inside a silo or bin and no movement of air is allowed, then often disastrous consequences such as rupturing or imploding of silos can occur.
- Site Installation
- Apart from design and fabrication of the silo, Transmin also install and commission silo systems. Transmin will organise civil, structural, electrical and mechanical work crews, cranes, and equipment to install the silo in minimal time to avoid interfering with production. So all you have do is inspect the final working item. Simple isn't it !
